As a small but developing business with national reach, Docnet thrives on the responsibility it holds to the societies, communities and environment in which it operates. We hold a clear vision for the role of our business in developing social and environmental sustainability as well as innovating in the fields of social and commercial enterprise.
Docnet’s approach to corporate responsibility and sustainability is based upon several leading principles:-
Docnet will strive to contribute to the development of its leading principles on a consistent basis.

Kiva.org is the world's first person-to-person micro-lending scheme, empowering individuals and businesses to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world. Docnet engages in this programme to support enterprise and entrepreneurialism in Third World countries where survival for micro businesses and entrepreneurs is often difficult. This means that individuals who want to work to give themselves and their families a sustainable and healthy life have the ability to do so, with the support they need.
The development of home grown projects in local communities is hugely valuable to our local economy and society as a whole. Docnet will offer pro-bono services to four locally-based community organisations or charities each year to help them increase their reach, fundraising capabilities and level of delivery.
Docnet strives to develop a sense of health and well being in all its staff members and organises monthly sports competitions and events for its team.

Docnet will use its expertise in the fields of marketing and communication to champion the development of social enterprise and sustainable practice amongst SME’s in the North West.
We will strive to maximise the impact we have upon positive development in the North West by engaging 6 companies per year to become active in some form of sustainable practice or socially enterprising activity through our “Docnet Sustainable Advocacy” programme.
Docnet will enter the realms of corporate social leadership by producing and distributing a quarterly article highlighting successful achievements and important developments in social enterprise in the North West to champion the cause of sustainability practice in our communities.
The Docnet management team holds itself to the highest standards of ethical integrity and is committed to consistent development of an ethically responsible and profitable business culture. Our philosophy is based upon the concepts of trust, integrity and progress. This philosophy is conveyed throughout all stakeholder issues including product quality, customer service, employee salaries and benefits and our responsibility to the environment and local communities.
Docnet believes that its employees are at the core of its growth and success and pledges to invest in the development and progression of its team members to expand their capabilities wherever possible. The Docnet team development and training scheme engages staff members in a progressive and rewarding programme of growth which is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Docnet strives to create a working environment which is mentally stimulating, physically healthy and rewarding for its staff members. Where possible, we will recruit internally to offer our staff members the chance to progress through our organization. We support flexible working hours for our staff, particularly those with children and families.
Docnet is an equal opportunities employer and will recruit individuals based upon the merit of their talent and character in their respective field regardless of special needs. We strive to enrich the Docnet experience for all our team members regardless of race, religion, colour, creed, gender or disability.
