Business Development Manager – Sales Executive – Ecommerce / Digital

We require a Business Development Manager who will thrive off of working in a fast paced environment involving selling in a competitive market, with the ability to sell consultatively with a solution orientated proposition, experience of working the full sales cycle and a good understanding of major vertical is an advantage.

We provide a sophisticated software-as-a-service e-commerce platform, powering the online retail environments of small and medium-sized retailers along with ongoing digital marketing support. The key features of the role are:

Closing business in pursuit of quarterly sales quotas
Generating outbound sales pipeline in key accounts
Fulfilling all aspects of successful sales cycles (RFP’s, quotes, proposals, presentations, closing, reporting)
All aspects of business pipeline and sales forecasting management

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of e-commerce in the retail sector but must be sales orientated in skill set and previous roles. Full understanding of a sales structure, team player, innovation / creativity, presentation skills, price handling, proposal making and negotiation skills.
