Senior PHP Web Developer - Manchester

We are looking for a talented developer to join our growing production team and help develop our highly successful e-commerce and e-marketing web applications.

We are a profitable and growing company that has been established for over 10 years and are based in the heart of Manchester city centre on Deansgate.

We are a passionate, sociable, bunch of geeks (16 of us) who love what we do and are constantly working to push both ourselves and our clients.

You have;

  • 3+ years commercial development experience
  • A very solid understanding of OO programming concepts
  • An understanding of design patterns, such as Singleton, Factory, Observer etc.
  • Experience with PHP5
  • Good knowledge of SQL (MySQL), XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS
  • Experience with Linux/Unix based operating systems is a significant advantage
  • A good feel for web site & interface aesthetics

Graduate Web Developer - Manchester

We are looking for a graduate developer to help develop our highly successful e-commerce and e-marketing web applications.

We are a profitable and growing company that has been established for over 10 years and are based in the heart of Manchester city centre.

You have:

  • An understanding of server-side scripting languages such as PHP
  • A reasonable level of exposure to, and experience with, OO programming concepts
  • Awareness of SQL (MySQL), XML, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS
  • Some experience with Linux/unix based operating systems
  • Ideally good aesthetic and graphic design skills, with Photoshop experience an advantage but not essential

You will be expecting to graduate with a 2.1 or First, having already achieved first class A level results. You will have gained substantial development experience either through a previous internship or through in-depth project work and will have proven programming skills. An understanding of Databases and SQL would be an advantage.
